Finding Their Mate [Wolf Pack Mates 4] (Siren Publishing Ménage Everlasting) Page 7

But perhaps that was a silly idea. Likely men wouldn’t be interested in doing it. Although many men, especially wolves and Doms, were competitive. If there was a prize? But what would the prize be?

“A champagne dinner in the hotel restaurant with three people of the winner’s choice. So if it’s a man, he can choose one or more women to impress with his superior skills!”

But would it work? Would men be interested in doing it? I’ll ask Kyan and Aragon today.

Promptly at twenty-five past nine, Bianca left her little bungalow and walked down her driveway. As well as her purse, she was carrying her laptop bag. She had so many different files now with information about all the different aspects of the party that she didn’t want to not have it with her in case she couldn’t remember something important. Besides it meant she could discreetly pack a change of underwear and a clean T-shirt just in case she decided to spend the night with the men again. Half of her desperately wanted to go to bed with them, while the other half was warning her she needed to back off. That sooner or later she was going to be very badly hurt, when all her dreams came crashing down around her head.

Still, her heart beat faster and her lips kept curving up into a smile. Today she was going to be with them and she was excited and happy about that. Tomorrow would be soon enough to worry about the relationship collapsing. Neither man seemed worried about her species at the moment, so she wouldn’t worry about it, either.

A familiar white pickup truck cruised to a stop outside the front of her home. Kyan jumped out of the passenger door and held it open for her. “Good morning, beautiful.”

“Hi, Kyan. Hi, Aragon.” She slid across the seat in the middle, and put the laptop bag at her feet before buckling her seat belt.

“Tell me what you think about this idea?” she asked, explaining about the contest to find out everyone’s “fact.”

“I like it. It might give people who are a bit shy an excuse to talk to a stranger,” said Aragon.

“I agree. Many of the wolves will be there only to look for a mate. But they’ll be on their best behavior and not want to seem rude by asking any questions that females might not like. So this gives them a guaranteed talking point. I think there might be quite a lot of wolves who, like us, don’t know much about women so this could be a real help for them.”

Bianca grinned. “I’m so glad. I thought it might seem rather contrived and girly. I mean, it is contrived, but we have to start somewhere, right?”

  “We do indeed.”

Bianca relaxed and enjoyed just being with her two men as they wound their way across to the Harringway Hotel. It seemed smaller than it had on the website, and there was nowhere out front to park and no basement parking either. “You two get out here and I’ll go find a parking space,” said Aragon.

“Have a good look around at the signs. If you go into a parking lot make sure to get me a business card to keep please,” said Bianca, scrambling out after Kyan and snatching her laptop off the floor as she went.

Instead of just standing on the sidewalk, Bianca said, “Let’s walk up and down a little way and see what stores are nearby.”

“Let me hold the laptop. It’s too heavy for you.” Kyan slung it over his shoulder then held her hand as they walked past the hotel and up to the next corner. There was a computer store, a motorcycle store, and a tattoo parlor on the same side of the road as the hotel, and a dress store, a tiny coffee shop, and thrift store on the other side of the road.

“I suppose men might like looking in the computer store and the motorcycle store, likely even the tattoo parlor, but this block isn’t very interesting for a woman. But still, inside the hotel might be much better,” she said, relieved to see Aragon coming toward them.

But the ground floor of the hotel was dark and gloomy. There were some big old armchairs set around a rug with a coffee table in the center of them, and a reception desk with a bell on it to ring for service.

Kyan picked up the bell and gave a loud ring.

An older man with a tiny bit of hair combed over the bald spot in the center of his head came toward them. “Help you?” he asked, sitting behind the desk.

“I’m Bianca Phillips. The company I work for is planning a conference in mid September and we’re looking around at venues. We have an appointment with the manager at ten.”

“Are you sure it was today? He didn’t say anything to me and he’s not here.”

“Yes it was today. Can you contact him please?” If this is the best service they can arrange, I don’t think working with them to plan a conference is going to be easy.

  “One moment please.”

The man disappeared out the back again, and Bianca waited, looking all around her. Finally, the man was back and said, “He’ll be here at two. Come back then.”

Bianca stared at him. She was very inclined to tell him to show her around himself, but if this was the best place, she didn’t want to antagonize the staff. It wasn’t his fault the manager seemed a fraction disorganized. “Thank you. I’ll see you then.”

She turned and walked out of the hotel, Aragon hurrying ahead of her to open the door for her, and Kyan right behind her.

“On a ranking of one to ten for service, he gets a zero,” said Kyan.

“Well the parking rates about a two. I found a space for half an hour. At least since the meeting is not on right now I don’t have to keep coming back and moving the car all the time,” said Aragon.

“I’d better put car parking on the top of my list to speak to the manager about this afternoon then. No one is going to keep moving their cars all day for a week.”

“Didn’t you see any parking lots?” asked Kyan.

“No, but we’ve got plenty of time now, so we can drive around and look at the stores and the parking.”

“Actually, let’s walk. We’ll see more that way.” Bianca headed off in the opposite direction from before. They walked a block south, then up and down the side streets, before crossing the road and repeating the pattern.

“No parking lot, and not the kind of stores people like to wander around in and window shop,” said Bianca.

“Yeah. My thoughts precisely. Where’s the car?” asked Kyan.

  “Down here.”

When they reached the pickup, and Kyan helped Bianca in, Aragon asked, “Where to now? Coffee?”

“No. I think we need to use this time to have a good look at the Konference Kabins. We already know security might be as big an issue there as at one of the city hotels. Let’s go and check their perimeter before we’re due to have the meeting with the owner. I want to know what we’re up against before we go back to the Harringway Hotel. We might need to start our thinking over from the ground up,” said Bianca.

She was silent as Aragon drove to the fringes of the city. Of course the party didn’t have to be in this city. It could be anywhere. It was just if none of them had to travel to do all the organizing aspects it would be easier. But if there was a much better venue in another town not too far away, that was doable. After all, an extra half hour or hour’s travel for her would simply mean the venue was half an hour or an hour closer for someone else. She supposed she shouldn’t be selfish about the venue, but with the two wolf packs primarily organizing the event nearby, having it in their own town had seemed like an obvious decision. But a nearby town would work just as well.

When they arrived at the Konference Kabins, Aragon stopped and pointed. The front of the property was behind a hedge maybe ten feet high. “I like the hedge. Shall I follow it around?”

  “Good idea,” said Bianca, smiling.

The hedge went as far as the side road, then turned the corner, becoming less thick and well kept, but she could now see the cyclone wire behind it. Of course, cyclone wire was very easy to climb, but the climbers still had to negotiate the hedge, so together the two would be somewhat of a challenge. Slowly, Aragon kept driving. The Kabins ended before there was another side road, but when Aragon found one he made
the turn and they drove slowly back but didn’t see the Kabins anymore until they were back on the main street and the thick hedge came into view.

“What do you want to do now?” asked Aragon.

“I’d like to follow the perimeter from inside, but that would be rather rude.” Bianca sighed.

  “Coffee,” said Kyan forcefully.

Aragon laughed and turned back the way they’d originally come. “There was a take-out place just a mile or so back,” he said.

By the time they met with the owner of the Konference Kabins, Bianca was smiling and relaxed again, but Aragon wondered how many places they’d have to look at which would be unsuitable. Security was important for a mixed species event like this, but he’d never before realized how difficult it was to ensure safety. Living on pack lands had spoiled him, he supposed.

He trailed around after Bianca, trying to be helpful, keeping his gaze on everything and memorizing anything he thought might be useful. At least this place wasn’t as dark and gloomy as the other one, and the owner really was trying hard to be helpful, promising to hire in extra staff if needed and saying there were a couple of other cabins that could be opened up if they had unexpectedly large numbers.

“I’d like to walk around the gardens now. Is that all right?” Bianca asked.

“We have a lot of land here. Would you rather use the golf cart? You can see it all much faster then.”

  “Oh, that’d be great, thanks.”

Aragon mentally cheered. He didn’t mind walking, but a golf cart really would be excellent. They’d be able to follow the entire perimeter and not get tired.

Kyan drove decorously away from the main building, but once they were out of sight he wove through the gardens to the fence line. From this side they could see the hedge had grown through the cyclone wire in lots of places which would make climbing quite difficult and also meant the fence was a little bit more secure.

“Look,” said Kyan, stopping the golf cart.

“What?” asked Bianca, turning her head in every direction.

“There’s barbed wire in among the hedge as well. That fence is stronger than it appears.”

Aragon climbed out of the cart and walked across to the fence. Sure enough, several strands of barbed wire were threaded through the cyclone wire. The fence did indeed provide much more protection than it had seemed to do.

Bianca leaned back in her seat. “There are enough rooms, the owner is helpful, the security is not too bad, and there’s all the facilities inside we need for our parties and workshops. All this space outside should make the wolves and the humans happy. They can walk—or run—out here as much as they want. Well, in human form that is. Let’s go back and confirm the prices.”

Aragon smiled. Finding the venue was the most important first task. With that sorted they could now start thinking about how to find females. And that wasn’t just his problem, it was everyone’s, so not nearly as worrying as getting the venue decided on.

The owner was waiting for them in the reception area. Aragon’s cock hardened as Bianca gave the man her most beautiful smile. “I like your grounds. They’re lovely. Can we talk prices and dates now please?”

“Of course.” The owner handed her a sheet with costs on it. Aragon watched as Bianca glanced over it and nodded, before sliding it in the outside pocket of her laptop case.

“We were thinking of the middle of September.”

The man’s face dropped. “Not the end of August? The last week of August is available.”

“No. Either the second or third week in September.”

  “The first week of October?”

Bianca shook her head. “Are you completely booked out in September?”

“In a manner of speaking. We’ve arranged to have all the cabins repainted then. It may be finished by the end of the third week, if everyone works very hard. But not before that.”

Aragon watched Bianca’s face fall as she shook her head again. “No. Some of our people are very eager to avoid any chance of snow. The second week of September is out first choice, and the third week our backup date, I’m afraid. I’m so sorry to have wasted your time. I really like your facilities here.”

“If you can talk your people into the last week of August, please remember us,” said the owner.

Aragon was pretty sure that wouldn’t happen. The dates were quite fixed. It looked like they’d have to go back to that hotel and hope the manager was more efficient than he’d appeared to be so far.

Kyan wrapped an arm around Bianca, gestured to Aragon to open the door, and hustled the three of them out of Harringway Hotel. “Sleazy slime ball,” he said as they walked back toward where they’d left the car.

“Shit, yes. No woman would be safe in that hotel, even with Harry Harrison in charge of the security. That so-called manager undressed me with every glance and that’s with the two of you standing right there beside me,” said Bianca.

“Even I feel like I need a shower to get his filthy glances off my skin,” added Aragon.

“So now we’re back to square one to find a venue,” groaned Bianca.

“We’ll start looking at the next town over tomorrow. The rest of the day is just for us.” Kyan had planned a special scene for them and reserved a dungeon and a bedroom at the BDSM club. They all needed some time together after the stressful day this had turned out to be. It hadn’t been at all about a fun time together as he’d hoped, but at least they had all been together. That had to count for something.

“But first we need to eat. I’m starving,” said Aragon.

“Yes, I am, too. Although I’m surprised by that.”

“Why should you be surprised? It’s almost three o’clock,” asked Kyan.

“That man. He made me feel so dirty.”

“Don’t think about him anymore. Think about us,” said Aragon. Kyan was pleased Aragon was speaking up. He needed to be less self-effacing, so it was good he was taking the lead here.

They found a pizza and pasta restaurant, and headed inside. It was late, but they were hungry and lack of menu choice didn’t hold them back. Besides, with what Kyan had planned for them in the dungeon they’d need plenty of calories to give them energy for the rest of the day.

From the restaurant it was a short drive back into town and across to the BDSM club. Kyan picked up his keycard to the dungeon he’d booked, and the one to the bedroom for afterward, and nodded to Bianca and Aragon. Bianca’s eyes were wide and he wondered if she’d ever been here before. That was a conversation for later. Now he wanted to move straight into the scene he’d planned.

He locked the dungeon door behind him then said, “Aragon, Bianca. In here you address me as Sir. You do not speak unless I ask you a direct question. Then you only answer the question. You don’t chatter. Understand?”

His gaze was on Bianca. He was certain Aragon already knew this. Bianca grinned and flipped her long red hair back over her shoulder. “Yes, Sir.”

  “Yes, Sir,” echoed Aragon.

“If you’re enjoying what we’re doing when I ask you, you say green. If it’s getting a little intense or you’re not sure you want to continue you say orange. If you no longer are happy about what’s happening you can call red at any time. Red completely stops play. That is the end of the scene and we go home. Do you understand?”

  Again he watched Bianca.

  “I understand.”

  “Yes, Sir.”

“Good. The scene begins now. Both of you undress completely then stand in the middle of the dungeon and wait for me.”

Kyan walked across to the far wall of the dungeon where there was a counter with drawers full of toys. Standing side-on, so he could watch his subs undress, he opened the top drawer and took out two tiny packets. Aragon had stepped into the corner of the room and was undressing, facing the wall. Bianca hesitated for a few moments then undressed where she stood.

Kyan opened the next drawer down, but it
didn’t hold what he wanted. The third drawer did though. He removed two butt plugs, still in their plastic wrapping, and a vibrator with the remote control for it. He guessed the deep drawer would hold something else he needed and he didn’t want Bianca or Aragon to see what he would choose, so he ignored that drawer and opened the bottom one. There were several interesting jars of paint. He looked over them all, finally deciding on two which he placed on the counter with the other things he’d selected.

Aragon was standing in the middle of the dungeon as instructed. He had his head bowed, his feet shoulder-width apart, and his hands clasped loosely behind his back. Kyan watched surreptitiously, but with great interest as Bianca stared at Aragon, then stood beside him mimicking his posture. Awesome! She’d taken that decision all by herself. She was smart as could be, a fast learner. Bianca was going to make a wonderful sub and she’d give Aragon the extra confidence he needed as well, as he supported her through the learning process.

Kyan picked up the first tiny bag and stood in front of Aragon. He held out the bag. “Do you know what these are?”

  “Yes, Sir.”

  “Good. Put them on Bianca.”

Aragon looked worried for a moment, then squared his shoulders. “Yes, Sir.”

Kyan managed not to smile. Already Aragon was gaining confidence. Evidently he hadn’t expected to be asked to put them on Bianca. Likely he’d never done that before. But still he was prepared to learn and that was all good. Now to see whether Bianca was used to wearing such jewelry or not.

Aragon took the nipple clamps from him and opened the bag, looking carefully at how they would attach to the skin. Then he nodded to himself and bent over very slowly before sucking Bianca’s right nipple.

Kyan knew he was going so slowly so that Bianca would be prepared for his mouth on her, and also for Kyan himself to stop Aragon if that wasn’t what he’d intended the male sub to do.
